Due to the number of visitors to Canmore each year, it is advisable have pre-arranged accommodation or
lodging prior to your arrival. When you're heading out for the day,
remember to dress in layered clothing, the variations in Rocky Mountain weather can be extreme
and your fishing trip may not be as enjoyable simply because you were not properly dressed.
Know where you are going or hire a guide and take a camera. You'll have
plenty of opportunities for some beautiful pictures of the surrounding
Canadian Rockies spectacular scenery.
Licenses and Fees:
All persons sport fishing in Alberta are required to have a Sport Fishing License, except youths under 16 years of age, Alberta residents aged 65
and older, and native Indian people. Licenses may be purchased at many
